Is everything handmade?

Yes, I make everything myself in my home in the Sudbury area.

What is your turnaround time?

All in stock orders are shipped within 1-3 business days, unless otherwise specified. Customs orders (see below for further details) are shipped within 3-4 weeks.

What material do you use?

All products are made with fabrics consisting of 95% cotton, 5% Lycra. On occasion I may use a different blend, which will be listed in the product description.

I missed out on a fabric. Will you get it again?

I order most fabrics through preorders with my suppliers, so once something is out of stock I cannot order any more. On occasion, a supplier may rerun a popular print, but there is never a guarantee.

Do you take custom orders?

How do I wash to prevent shrinking?

I prewash all fabrics to remove excess dyes and printing chemicals, and to prevent shrinking. Once home, wash with cold water and tumble dry on low- no special washing needs here!

Does your product look different on a computer screen versus in person?

It is possible, due to monitor settings and pixel quality, however all photos are taken in natural light and adjusted to reflect the truest colour.

Will the clothing look exactly as pictured?

Yes, to a degree. Print placement will vary, however I am always careful to match up seams on repeating patterns wherever possible.

Do you ship internationally?

I currently ship to Canada and the United States only.

Do you do local pick up?

I live about 45 minutes outside of Sudbury, Ontario. I offer local pickup at a mutually convenient time and location in Sudbury, however a failure to pick up will result in the order having to be shipped at the buyers expense. You will find local pickup as a shipping option when checking out, and I will contact you to arrange a meet up.

Do you guarantee your workmanship?

I absolutely stand behind my work and will repair any flaws in seams at my own cost, however wear and tear (tears in the fabric, worn out knees, etc) is not considered a flaw. If possible, I will repair or patch the item; please contact me for further information.

Do you offer returns?

All custom orders and preorder a non returnable due to each one being customized to the customers specifications. All in stock items are permitted to be returned within 3 days of receipt, at the purchasers expense if shipping is required. Shipping costs are non refundable. All items must be returned in unworn, unwashed condition with all tags still attached. You must contact via email at hello@shoplittleper.com before initiating a return.

Do you offer preorders?

From time to time I will offer exclusive preorders for custom items in different fabrics that take approximately 3 months to arrive to me. A 50% deposit is required upon placing an order, with the balance due when the fabric arrives. All deposits are non-refundable. Should you decide to back out of a preorder, you forfeit that deposit as the fabric has been ordered specifically for your item.

Do you have a loyalty program?

Yes we do. Once you create an account on the website, you will receive points for signing up, every purchase, and on your birthday. There will also be exclusive points giveaways held in the VIP Facebook group. Please ensure you are logged in before making any purchases- points cannot be awarded retroactively.

Safety Precautions

All items are made in a smoke and pet free home using only new materials. I do prewash using Tide unscented detergent, however as a safety precaution (as with any children’s items purchased from any store) I suggest washing before wearing. 

As well, I do not use functional drawstrings as they present a strangulation hazard. Do not allow your child to sleep with items that could pose a choking or strangulation hazard. Please check the integrity of all snaps before use.
